Michigan State University: East Lansing Michigan - Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Financial Administration. While at the University, I participated on the varsity swim team and water polo team and was introduced to springboard and tower diving

Tarrant County Junior College Hurst Texas, - State License / Emergency Medical Technician, The program focused On Pre-hospitalization care and injury analysis.

Oakland Community College Auburn Hills Michigan - Audited / Special Skills or advanced level Emergency Medical Technician, The program focused on drug intervention and pre-hospital special skills.

Paramedic Emergency Services, Auburn Hills, Michigan - State License /Emergency Medical Technician; The program focused on pre-hospitalization care and injury analysis.

Lawrence Institute of Technology. Southfield, Michigan - Associate in Risk Management Degree. The program focused on Risk Management Techniques, Risk Control through the lowering of the frequency and severity of losses and Financing of Loses

Acvtivities And Memberships

Drowning and Spinal Cord Injury Statistician for the States of Michigan and Indiana, I have compiled an unsurpassed database of police investigated and generated reports of how all drowning and many other serious injuries have occurred in both Michigan and Indiana for many of the years between 1980 and 1998.

Professional lifeguard Trainer and Instructor Seasonally, I contract with many city Governments and conduct lifeguard training and the implementation of water safety programs for facilities in the Midwest.

Speaker and Expert to interested parties on many topics specific to water safety at pools, Spas, beaches and water parks.

Over the past 15 years, I have been a member of many safety organizations including the United States Lifesaving Association, the World Water park Association, the National Spa and Pool Institute, the national Parks and Recreation Association, the Michigan Parks and Recreation Association, the National Safety Council, the Water Safety Committee, the Michigan Health Departments Pool Safety committee, the Lake Orion Pool Committee the MMRMA Parks and Recreation Safety committee, the Triathlon Federation Rules and Safety Committee, the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association, the Michigan High Schools Water Polo Coaches Association, the National Safety Management Society, the Commodore Longfellow Society, the National Spinal Cord Injury Association, the USWP safety Committee, the Counsel for National Cooperation in Aquatics, the National Forensics Center, and the American Board of Forensic Examiners

Since 1987, I have been the United States Lifesaving Associations State Representative, the Chairperson and founder of the Michigan Lifeguard Competition, the Open Water Trainers Program and the Backyard Pool safety Program. I have been a researcher in the area of rescue techniques, rescue equipment, water movements and behaviors Sciences of bathers.
