More than nineteen years experience preparing and analyzing financial and economic data and providing economic damages calculations, consulting services and reports in support of litigation. Expert testimony provided in deposition, Federal and State courts, arbitration and before the Special Master in Victims Compensation matters.

Prepared quantitative and qualitative analyses, memos and expert reports on tort cases involving personal injury, care costs and life-care plans, wrongful-death, wrongful termination, Jones Act, FELA, intellectual property, and commercial damages.

Prepared statistical analyses of employer liability in employment practices on the basis of race, sex and age and testified in arbitration on evidence of statistical discrimination.

Developed forecasts, competitive analyses and financial models for firms in a variety of industries, including the telecommunications, retail, casino-gambling, insurance, manufacturing, tire wholesaler, oil services, and hotel industries.

Analyzed, created and maintained large document/image and relational databases in support  of complex litigation.
Provided business-development, client management, expert retention and supervision services.

Participated in forensic audits, statistical sampling, strategic evaluations and other  projects in a multidisciplinary  team  environment  involving  accountants,  attorneys,  economists  and  finance experts.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Economic Consulting

President, A PRIVATE CONSULTING COMPANY, providing economic consulting services and expert testimony in personal-injury, wrongful-death, commercial litigation and employment matters (2003- present).

Senior Economist at the Center for Forensic Economic Studies, where he concentrated on the analysis of damages in personal-injury, wrongful-death and wrongful-termination matters and was head of the Dallas office (2002 – 2003).

In-house consultant at Bickel & Brewer, a Dallas/New York litigation firm specializing in complex commercial, corporate, environmental, hospitality, gaming, construction and other business torts (2000 - 2002).

Forensic economist with the Litigation Support and Consulting Group of Grant Thornton, LLP, a nationwide accounting and consulting firm, providing economic consulting and expert testimony in commercial-damages cases (1999 - 2000).

Senior research economist for Formuzis, Pickersgill and Hunt, Inc., economic consultants, providing economic consulting services, damages calculations and expert testimony in personal- injury, wrongful-death and wrongful-termination maters (1987 - 1997).

Economist

Federal Trade Commission, Bureau of Economics, Consumer Protections Agency. Provided economic research, analysis and SAS computer assistance for a nationwide study of generic-drug- substitution laws and their impact on retail prescription drug pricing, during a graduate internship
(1982).

Research assistant, Washington State University, providing research and analysis on a variety of applied and theoretical projects, including economic forecasting, voting behavior, migration and crop production. (1980-1983).

Securitization analyst, National Realty Funding, LP (currently a division of Key Bank), providing analysis, reporting and data management services to the conduit-loan-securitization department for all commercial properties (1998 - 1999).
