Professional Experience

2001-Present - RN - University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore, Maryland.  Initially started through a contract with Progressive Nursing Staffers as a critical care nurse in multiple intensive care units in the hospital.  Units included: Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Medical Intensive Care Unit, Cardiac Care Unit, Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit and Neuro Intensive Care Unit.  Became a staff nurse in the Adult ED in 2002.  University of Maryland is a tertiary care hospital, caring for acute/critical patients on a daily basis, some of which are transferred from outside hospitals needing a higher level of care.

1998-2001 - RN - Franklin Square Hospital Center, Baltimore, Maryland - Intensive Care Unit.  Initially started at Franklin Square Hospital through a contract with Progressive Nursing Staffers and moved to permanent staff in the Intensive Care Unit.

1996-1998 - RN - Union Memorial Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland - Progressive Care Unit and Cardiac Care Unit

1982-1996 - Paralegal with law firms in the Baltimore area specializing in medical malpractice and personal injury.
