Responsible for daily operations and maintenance of the Coaster Commuter Service.

Responsible for the planning and development of all operating schedules for approximately 3,000 daily trains.
Able to effectively negotiate between various internal departments, i.e. marketing operations, maintenance, and government affairs.
Successfully negotiated operational issues between the various impacted commuter rail authorities throughout the nation.

Managed Amtrak’s National Crew office, supervising a staff of 110 agreement personnel and 14 management positions.
Controlled the train and operating crew labor budget and insured that train crew personnel were effectively assigned to the 52 crew bases nationwide.
Designated as the first level appeal officer for all contractual labor claims.
Responsible for the development and implementation of a number of computer based systems that resulted in significant operational efficiencies and monetary savings.
