1986-1995 Assistant Vice President, Insurance Brokers Company, Serviced and producer handling hulls, charterers liabilities, California fish boats and import/export cargo. Designed new application for California fish boats, Boat-marinas property and liability including County Harbor Commissioners property and liability. Added new fields of endeavor to include Property Insurance including Business. Income and Extra Expense also Earthquake. Fidelity (Crime). Professional Malpractice of
Asset-Manager contractors to a Corporation and Mental Health Managed-Care organisations.
Stop-loss for HMO's and Mental Health Managed-Care contractors.

1985-1986, Marine and Bond, Inc., Producer and marketer all classes marine business, mostly cargo.

1982-1985, Vice President, Manager, Western Marine Division, Insurance Brokers.
Established a marine insurance organization where none had previously existed. Controlled production, marketing and servicing; this included hulls (blue-water and harbor), P.&I., Charterers Liabilities. Non-vessel-operating-common-carriers (NVOCC), Cargo including Contingent Business Interruption and Rejection Risks, Confiscation and Expropriation and Stock Throughput. Developed new insuring conditions for tractor-tugs when towing drilling barges. Introduced foreign hull, cargo and liability business into San Francisco market.

1979-1982, Vice President, Marine Manager. Assumed management of Marine Department of the San Francisco branch office. Main duties were servicing the marine exposures of the five Kaiser entities. This included OBO's, Cement Carriers, Cement barges, tugs and fishing boats.  The division
also handled a major vessel-construction yard as well as much Charterers Liabilities. Large quantities of cement products were covered as cargo to many international destinations. Was marine consultant to other offices Authority in Washington to take over very large portfolio of fishing-vessel business, analyzed and remarket as a book of business. Was given underwriting powers by certain underwriters to write ocean cargo.  In 1982 was requested by certain Japanese Gas Companies to provide marine consultancy in their negotiations with the Indonesian Government; involved working in Tokyo and speaking at formal meetings.

1960's, American Marine Department handling hulls, cargo and Second Seamen’s insurance which was produced by a variety of US National and regional brokers. Sedgwick organization on the brink of unprecedented period of business expansion.

1960's, Responsibility broadened to include marine liabilities, Excess P.&.I., Bumbershoots also Loss of Use &/or Hire. Established the Marine Liability Department to handle Bumbershoots, Excess P.&I., also General    Liability policies for Ship repairers, Terminal Operators, Stevedores, Charterers, Wharfingers, Barge Operators, Ship owners, Railroads and Transportation companies. Also established sub-section to handle Carriers Liability for Armored-Car carriers in US and UK and about 20 US Railroads (under Bills of Lading).

1960's, Established Ocean Protection & Indemnity, department to handle business with Mutual P.&I. Clubs in London and Scandinavia. Within 10 years of its formation this department handled approximately 13 million gross tons of shipping  from 20 countries.

Designed special coverage’s for the World's first LASH carriers and LNG Carriers.

1971, With exception of certain fleets of vessels; relinquished daily handling of Ocean P.&I. to enter final phase of Sedgwick service entered oil industry offshore insurance. Commenced handling Drilling Contractors liabilities, Oil Company's Pollution Liabilities, Hull insurance on jackups and semi-submersible drilling barges, drill-ships, crew boats and supply boats. Commenced creating marine/non-marine package programs for international construction companies, public utilities and oil companies. Traveled extensively to United States, Far East, Middle East and Continent of Europe.

Marine insurance advisor to Environmental & Production Forum of the major oil companies during intergovernmental meetings at the Quai d'Orsay, Paris, leading to an International Convention on Oil Pollution from offshore drilling in North Sea. Nominate to attend in the same capacity for Mediterranean Sea convention but declined, as had accepted employment in San Francisco.

Consultant panel member advising UK Department of Energy on offshore insurance particularly related to employee problems.

Held private educational talks with Bank of America and others who had entered ship mortgage business, and similar with representatives of Peoples Republic of China.

1978, Testified before US House of Representatives Subcommittee on Energy and Power in connection with pending legislation regarding the planned arrival of Liquified Natural Gas carriers at specified U.S. ports.

1978, Attended a residential course for directors on Development of Management Skills organized by PA Management Consultants Ltd.
