Started recreation supervision experience as scouting supervisor in the late 1940's.

Worked as a skating rink recreation employee while attending high school.

Employed by the Willowbrook Sports Center, an ice-skating and recreational facility. Employed by the Essex County Park Commission Recreation Department in 1957 and participated in all recreational staff meetings.
