Technical Director - Had technical responsibility for commercial laundry and drycleaning equipment imported and sold in the United States, Canada and Mexico by largest such importer. Worked directly with overseas manufacturers in the design and construction of the equipment as it dealt with Safety Standards and U.S. approvals.
Personally acted as technical representative of company in a number of lawsuits by preparing answers to Interrogatories and testifying at Depositions and Trials.
Additionally, accepted the invitation from Underwriters Laboratories to serve as Industry Representative on the Industry Advisory Group for Laundry Equipment, Coin-Operated and Commercial.
Quality Control Manager - Instituted and managed formal Quality Assurance program at Signal-Stat Corporation, Flasher Division, as approved by General Motors and Chrysler Corporation. Wrote Quality Control manual, selected and/or designed all test equipment, determined in-process test and inspection procedures and trained in process inspectors from Direct Labor personnel.
Production Engineer - Maintained technical supervision over entire Production Section at the Precision Potentiometer Division of Litton Industries. Personally trained personnel for highly technical assembly and calibration operations and selected equipment for same. Developed new techniques for manufacturing and testing of products and performed trouble-shooting duties in all areas of manufacture.
Electrical Engineer - Designed controls for automated equipment during period of conversion at Ideal Corporation from largely manual assembly to highly automated type. Was additionally responsible for performance of all electrical technicians and test personnel and also engaged in new product design and evaluation.
Project Engineer - Engaged in every phase of engineering, including research and development, product design, product test, customer liason, field engineering, manufacturing engineering and vendor evaluation at Markite Corporation, a highly technical aerospace company which relied exclusively on a Project Engineering system and devoted much time to training its engineers. Additional personal duties included trouble-shooting all long-running projects and supervising the Product Test laboratory.
