This corporation was formed in 1999 to provide expert knowledge to insurance companies, attorneys, health care professionals and to the general public. Since its inception, Expert 1728 has performed many chart reviews, life cost planning, device evaluations and fraud determinations.

As owner and practitioner, Expert 1728 provided the physically challenged with orthotic (orthopedic braces) and prosthetic (artificial limbs) care; communicates with physicians and other health care professionals to develop designs to meet the individual needs of the patient; then fabricates the device and ultimately fits the prosthetic or orthotic device on the patient. He has worked with all levels and ages of patients. He was the first in the area to utilize Computer aided Design and Manufacture (CAD/CAM) for both Orthotics and Prosthetics.
Another unique specialty is Anaplastology, which is a very specialized field of prosthetics. It entails fabrication of very cosmetic body part replacements.
Today's health care system requires a very good understanding of third party payers, contracts with Federal and State agencies , HMO's and private insurance.
Expert 1728 has vast experience and now serves as Senior Technical Consultant to this Prosthetics Firm.
MEDICAL AND LEGAL CONSULTING
Expert 1728 has testified for both defendants and plaintiffs. He has participated in many depositions nationally. He as also, testified in civil court as an expert witness. A recent case, for which Mr. Parr was the expert witness for the defense, was the first prosthetic liability case to go to a jury trial in the State of Louisiana. The defense won and the case was published in the Louisiana Law Review.
