01/05- Present No Appointment MD-Phoenix, AZ Urgent Care/Family Practice PA Patient management involves management of acute ambulatory patients and family practice patients. Family practice patients range from management of diabetes, asthma, hypertension, thyroid disorders, and other chronic medical conditions Preventive medicine including well examinations on females, males and children. Acute cases range from acute illness to exacerbation of long standing medical conditions. Procedures done in the clinic include suturing, I & D of skin lesions, splinting, and removal of ingrown toenails. Order and interpret labs and appropriate imaging studies. Coordinate care between patients PCP, specialist and the acute care environment.
04/00-Present Arizona Army National Guard-Phoenix, AZ Captain, Chief of Medical Flight Services Section. Provide Aeromedical physicals and in-flight evaluations for all flight personnel. Work with all flight personnel as a medical officer. Perform medical evaluation of all flight personnel to include obtaining medical histories, performing physical examinations, and obtaining/interpreting laboratory studies. Assigned to a UH-60 unit and maintain flying hours on this aircraft.

Performing all Emergency Department duties to include: medical evaluation and treatment. The hospital admits medical and surgical patients. All Pediatric, Cardiac emergencies are stabilized and sent via ambulance or life flight to the appropriate hospital in Phoenix.
