Construction engineering experts are knowledgeable in project management issues such as contract negotiation; cost estimating; inspection and safety regulations; building codes; access to materials involved in construction projects such as steel beams, brickwork, roofing; occupational health & safety issues specific to the industry; computer programs used for designing plans such as CAD/CAM software; and legal issues associated with contracts. From these strengths they can offer testimony regarding how contractual obligations were met (or not) by either party during a construction project.
