Construction Electrical Engineer

A Construction Electrical Engineer Expert Witness is an expert who can provide testimony in litigation involving electrical engineering principles related to construction projects. These experts are often called upon to investigate and analyze the design, installation, testing and maintenance of structures with electrical components. The expert’s role is critical in such cases as they must evaluate liabilities associated with safety hazards on construction sites that involve electrical components.

The expertise of a Construction Electrical Engineer Expert Witness can be used in all legal proceedings including contract law, zoning disputes, building code claims and liability. In building disputes the engineer is usually expected to analyze construction documents from both parties including drawings, blueprints and other design documents which contain specifications relevant to the case at hand. They must also examine digital pictures taken during each stage of a project for evidence of negligence or defective workmanship.

In order for them to provide accurate analysis they must possess knowledge about best practices related to construction sites where hazardous conditions can result in injuries or fatalities due to improper handling of electricity during installation or repairs. They should also have experience dealing with regulatory standards governing different types of structures such as hospitals, schools and government facilities - all which require specific procedures when dealing with electricity-related matters onsite that may differ significantly from those found at any given residential site.
