Synopsis of Professional Experience
I am an environmental consultant in Florence, Alabama, and equity partner in A Company. serving as Vice President in charge of day to day operations and environmental project management for wide-ranging due diligence and environmental permitting projects for clients throughout the United States and Central America. During the past 13 years with A Company, I have completed over 500 environmental site assessments on residential, commercial and timberland properties for individuals, banks, municipalities, real estate investment trusts, timber investment management organizations as well as private industry and forest resource companies among others. The site assessment projects have ranged in size from small undeveloped parcels of real property to industrial sites and large timberland transactions often involving properties between 1,000 and 500,000 acres. I also have experience in solid and hazardous waste management, wetlands, biological surveys (threatened endangered species) as well as requirements for large commercial developments. Constructive engagement with environmental regulatory agencies include the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the US Department of the Army Corps of Engineers, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Department of Conservation, Oil and Gas Commissions, and State environmental quality or management offices including those in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Ohio, Arkansas, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, New York, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Washington, and Oregon.
