Expert received his medical degree from Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. He further completed his residency at the Beth Israel Medical Center in New York and completed his fellowship at New York University.

Expert has over 10 years of general and forensic psychiatric experience, being board certified in adult and forensic psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He currently gives lectures on forensic psychiatry throughout the year at New York University and has supervised many medical students and forensic fellows at the Beth Israel Medical Center.
Additionally, he has released publications demonstrating his in-depth knowledge on the principles and practices of forensic psychiatry.

Expert is currently a telepsychiatrist at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation where he provides therapy for California prison psychiatric patients in a multitude of settings.
