Pre-Licensure Curriculum Redevelopment Working Group (Accelerated Option): (2010-2012).
Role(s): Convener of original working group charged with development of revised curriculum based on new BSN Essentials of Baccalaureate Education. Prepared summary feedback from previous graduates of the Accelerated Program obtained at program completion through individual interviews and focus groups. Chaired working group until the basic structure of the curriculum was developed and approved. Thereafter, served as a participating member.

Blended Courses Task Force: (2010-2012). Role(s): Together with Assistant Dean Dr. Rita Axford, worked closely with Instructional design team and Information Technology Systems to create a substructure for a blended component of all campus-based courses. Developed a timeline for the implementation of all blended courses offered through the School of Nursing and educated individual faculty on the processes necessary to create their course sections.

Role involves the review of complaints against registered nurses, advanced practice nurses, and licensed practical nurses in the state of Colorado; review of nursing education programs in the state of Colorado including curricular content, graduation rates, and licensing success rates; rulemaking related to nursing practice in the state of Colorado; serve as an expert witness and represent the Board in disciplinary actions initiated by the Board and the Office of the Attorney General; represent the State Board of Nursing on Nurse-Physician Advisory Task Force for Colorado Healthcare (NPATCH). Alliance for Clinical Education (A.C.E.): (2009-2013). Role(s): Member, representing the Loretto Heights School of Nursing on state-wide consortium charged with bringing together clinical agencies and schools of nursing for the purposes of discussing mutual issues and concerns; Co-Chair (2011-2012) with Dr. Candice Schoeneberger.
Free School Physical Examinations for Medically Indigent Children in Denver: (2003-Present). As a licensed and credentialed nurse practitioner in the State of Colorado, personally provide and/or supervise 400-500 free physical examinations annually in cooperation with a variety of schools and clinical agencies in the Denver area (S.U.N. Schools [Archdiocese of Denver], Skinner Middle School, Trevista Elementary and Middle School, KIPP Pre-Collegiate Academy Middle School, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver).

Peace in the Streets Back-to-School Health Fair: (2008-2010). Role: Provided review of students’ current immunization status; supervised administration of needed immunizations by pre-licensure pediatric nursing students.

9-Health Fair: (2004-Present). Role: Participate in an annual 9-Health Fair held at Regis University annually with activities including debriefing participants and reviewing findings, venipuncture, and assisting students organizing the health fair.
