He has been involved directly with a variety of products and projects ranging from ATVs/UTVs, Augers, Grain Bins, Livestock Handling and Containment Facilities, Hoppers, Conveyors, among many others. One of Mr. Brokesh’s focuses has been on the safety and guarding of the machinery to prevent users from sustaining an injury or fatality. Expert has taught courses related to sound engineering design, led an engineering staff, and overseen a manufacturing company of specialized agriculture machinery.

Adviser to numerous student design teams which have won international, national, and university awards. Several teams developed proprietary intellectual property for major agricultural equipment manufacturers.

  • Developed two courses related to engineering design (BAE 331 & BAE 250).
  • Founding member of the Kansas Biodiesel Consortium in Fall of 2015.
  • Part of a USDA Forest Service FY2013 Western Competitive Resource Allocation

  • Lead engineer on 13” Swing Away Auger product line (5 different portable conveyors) –
  • Conveyor lengths were 62’, 72’, 82’, 92’ and 102’ long
  • Designed ground hopper, swing away spout, inlet hopper, and winch lift system for these conveyors
  • Designed belt conveyor undercarriages for 4 different models of squeeze belt conveyors
  • 60’, 70’, 80’ and 90’ conveyor lengths
  • Designed major components for 24,000 bushels per hour loop grain conveying system
  • Grain bin wells and bin well control systems
