CLINICAL PRACTICE, INTERESTS, AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Over my tenure as a perfusionist, I have had the pleasure to learn and work with some of the most dedicated healthcare providers. Through my interactions with these individuals I have formulated a simplified style to education, a consistency to delivering information, and a motto to always try to help. I enjoy problem solving, especially in a diverse team.
I have worked at 2 of the top 5 hospitals US News ranks each year. Since starting my career, I have gained experience managing healthcare provider’s and student’s educational experiences. When I transferred to Hartford Hospital in December 2018, one of the stipulations I made was to be a part of their ECMO specialist training program. I have since helped to educate multiple classes of ECMO Specialists and ensured their successful transition from Respiratory Therapist to ECMO Specialist.
I received my MBA from Suffolk University December 2017. I have been able to apply and implement strategies in cost saving, recruitment, education, and research analysis at Massachusetts General Hospital and Hartford Hospital. My plan is to utilize my experiences from multiple institutions, my MBA education, and leadership qualities to maintain a successful cardiac perfusion program.
On the side, I am a board member of Expert Minute. I advise the CEO, provide investment opportunities, and help identify areas for potential expansion. I have been working with Expert Minute from concept to full product. We are on track to be a competitive and growing business within the online retail industry over the next two to three years.
