He has an extensive management and organizational experience in the fields of forensic engineering and construction contribute to his professional business approach in his work as a Civil Engineer. After completing his Civil Engineering degree at the University of Utah, he was commissioned an officer in the United States Marine Corp during which time he managed the EPA and OSHA programs for 16,000 personnel and supervised all Safety and Environmental personnel within his division. After a 4 year military career, holding the rank of Captain, entered the civilian workforce in construction management. He has extensive experience conducting forensic structural examinations, analysis and report composition. He has examined hundreds of structures, identifying cause, origin, and extent of various types of damage. His familiarity with current and historical building codes has resulted in identification of design and construction defects. Some of his work includes evaluating foundations, structural members, various roof systems, and analysis of watershed drainage systems.
