26 years of experience as a Registered Radiological Technologist and CT Tech. Unique and valuable leadership experience as a service member in the U.S.Army and the combination of its civilian counterparts as a CT Supervisor in both community hospitals and a Level 1 trauma academic center. I have a total of four years professional background in the U. S. Army, specializing in supervising, counseling, strategic planning, hospital information systems, clinical and classroom education and policy development.

To coordinate, operate, develop and administer assigned functions of the Imaging Safety and Compliance Program which includes: clinical radiation safety program, ACR Accreditation, and imaging regulatory compliance. Assist in the education, monitoring, evaluation and controlling radiological and non-radiological imaging health and safety initiatives in clinical practice settings which requires specialized knowledge of Federal and Virginia state laws, regulations, imaging safety, and radiation safety principles. Educates users of ionizing radiation producing equipment and non-ionizing radiation producing equipment. Organizes, delivers and/or coordinates lecture presentations electronically, in person and/or lab-style demonstrations to faculty and staff. Performs “student” observations, evaluations and skill testing.
