Prior to founding the private company, he was a shareholder at Kenny Nachwalter P.A. from 2008 to 2013, where he headed the firm’s White Collar Practice. Before working at Kenny Nachwalter, he was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Economic Crimes section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida. As a prosecutor, expert 217 led numerous investigations involving corporations and their officers and employees, including several criminal probes working in tandem with parallel civil False Claims Act investigations initiated by qui tam whistleblowers. Prior to joining the government, he was in private practice in Boston, Massachusetts where he specialized in white collar criminal defense and complex business litigation.
He clerked for the Honorable Stanley Marcus of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Honorable Donald M. Middlebrooks of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
