  • Southeastern Mental Health Authority Directs the oversight of a 24-hour 16-bed residential Brief Care Program and provide leadership and coordination to the Behavioral Health Home Initiative and Medication Assisted Treatment Program. Manage staff and operation of nursing departments; direct or assists with planning and managing of nursing activities; develops or assists with formulation of program goals and objectives; develops or assists in development of related policy incorporating current nursing research and professionally recognized standards; develops or assists in development and implementation of plans for nursing care; interprets and administers pertinent laws; evaluates staff; prepares or assists in preparation of nursing budget; maintains contacts with individuals both within and outside of department who might impact on program activities

January 2013- Present      Adjunct Faculty Three Rivers Community College, Norwich, CT

  • Provide clinical and didactic instruction for associate degree nursing students. Complete competency, goal and objective reviews in addition to student developed plans of care and delivery. Facilitate student experiences within the hospital setting to enhance learning opportunities in the final semester.  Assist with behavioral and clinical performance remediation.

    • Oversee the strategy and operations of Hartford HealthCare’s East Region Emergency Services service line including two hospital based and one satellite Emergency Department in addition to an Intercept Paramedic Program totaling over 135,000 patient visits per year. Responsible for short and long term planning, program and staff development, resource and budget management, staffing, quality monitoring/improvement and strategic planning initiatives to increase healthcare system and service utilization.  Total operating budget of 20 million dollars per year and 150 FTE workforce. Collaborate with state funded and private community partners to enhance provided services to address needs of patient population.
