Expert is President of a forensic economic consulting firm. He has more than 35 years’ experience providing economic consulting services, expert reports and expert testimony, primarily in support of litigation. His practice focuses on calculating economic damages and critiquing opposing damages experts in cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, wrongful termination, intellectual property and commercial torts and the future and present value of life care plans. He has been retained as an expert in more than three-dozen states and testified in deposition, arbitration, and State and Federal Courts more than a hundred and sixty times in the past four years.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Preparing, researching and analyzing financial and economic data and providing economic damages calculations, consulting services and expert reports in support of litigation. Expert testimony provided in deposition, Federal and State courts, arbitration, and before the Special Master in Victims’ Compensation matters.
  • Prepared quantitative and qualitative analyses, memos and expert reports on tort cases involving personal injury, care costs and life care plans, wrongful death, wrongful termination, Jones Act, FELA, intellectual property, and commercial damages.
  • Developed forecasts, competitive analyses and financial models for firms in a variety of industries, including the telecommunications, retail, casino gambling, insurance, manufacturing, tire wholesaler, oil services, residential real estate, merchant service provider, fire suppression, financial services, courier services and hotel industries. Analyzed, created and maintained large document/image and relational databases in support of complex litigation and participated in forensic audits, statistical sampling, strategic evaluations and other projects in a multidisciplinary team environment involving accountants, attorneys, economists and finance experts.

  • Federal Trade Commission, Bureau of Economics, Consumer Protections Agency. Provided economic research and data analysis for a nationwide study of generic drug substitution laws and their impact on retail prescription drug pricing, during a graduate internship (1982).
