PRIMARY RESEARCH AREAS:

1990-2001 Psychoeducational Intervention for Adult Unipolar Depression. A short-term, small-group, cognitive-behavioral therapy project for the treatment of unipolar depression and dysthymia. This project was initiated in May 1991 and ended in 2001.

1991-1992 Psychoeducational Intervention for Adolescent Unipolar Depression. A short-term, small-group, cognitive-behavioral therapy project conducted in the Culver City High School during the Fall 1991 Semester.

Both the Adult and Adolescent projects were designed for research, graduate training, and community service. To date, results have been disseminated to professional groups in both Los Angeles and Orange Counties, and Internationally. Two articles were published in peer
reviewed journals.
