Expert was born in Budapest, Hungary, in 1953 however he has spent most of his adult life in North America and is fluent in both English and French along with Hungarian his native tongue.

Thanks to his extensive international experience, he is distinct from the typical Hungarian legal professional in that he can offer a pluralistic and diverse insight into international affairs, having been immersed in the social fabric of many cultures and countries.
