OVERVIEW

Involved in Ice Rink Rentals, Management, Sales and Equipment Rentals since the late nineties.  Developed into one of the largest of it’s kind supplying turn-key Rinks, Equipment and Personnel not only throughout the United States but Internationally.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Private Company Owner/V.P.     1999 – Present

  • Along with one partner, oversee the creation and expansion of this custom ice skating rink construction, service and equipment business to its current size of approximately 40 locations
  • Manage an in-season staff of 450+ employees and 10 independent contracting crews.

Burley’s Rink Supply
Manager/Instructor (Arena Training and Technology Institute) 1997-1999

  • Finalized construction of Planet Ice, BRS’s operational, showcase ice rink
  • Developed the Arena Training and Technology Institute (ATTI), a tool to assist with the sale of ice rinks and related equipment in addition to training new equipment owners and their staff
  • Directed all aspects of Planet Ice’s operation including public skating, figure and hockey training and competition programs, food and retail sales, entertainment, staffing, accounting and more
  • Designed and implemented tests to determine the quality and durability of ice rink equipment (ATTI) and developed best practices for their use

Magic City, Inc. (Rock On Ice! / Hot Wheels!)  1990-1997
District Manager

  • Initially hired as a rink attendant, I quickly worked my way to Manager, General Manager, and finally District Manager after serving as maintenance supervisor and assistant manager
  • Responsible for all aspects of the operation including public skating, figure and hockey training and competition programs, food and retail sales, entertainment, staffing, accounting and more
  • Reported to a remote Corporate Office (Miami, FL)
