Managed an 88-bed long-term care facility, with a 20 bed Alzheimer Unit. Created an 18-bed ventilator unit, writing all policy and procedures, and recruitment of respiratory therapist to manage and staff the unit.

Private Rehabilitation Center Interim Administrator – Conroe Texas               2006 – 2007

Managed the turnaround of this 146 bed nursing facility with a secure unit. ADC grew from 63 to 80. Profit/Loss improvement of 40,000 monthly at completion of turnaround

Managed six nursing facilities and one personal care facility, four facilities obtained JCAHO accreditation, reduced DSO by 62 days, increased census by 73 days, and improved net profit/loss by $120,000 annually.

Managed a 160-bed nursing facility. Prepared annual operating budgets, and increased net revenue by $25,000.00 annually. Decreased operating expenses by $85,000.00 annually. Decreased DSO by 30 days, ADC of 95%, no deficiency surveys and first LTC facility in Houston to receive JCAHO accreditation.

Managed a 160-bed nursing facility, implemented Total Quality Management program, helping the facility maintain an excellent regulatory history.

Directed all personnel functions of two private psychiatric facilities, developed human resource policies and procedures, administered employee benefits program, and developed job recruitment campaigns, analyzed job markets, and assumed responsibility for hiring career professionals.
