Meteorologist (Richmond, VA – 2016 to present)
WTVR CBS 6 On-air Meteorologist for several newscasts throughout the day

Meteorology/Astronomy Teacher- L.C. Bird H.S., Chesterfield, Va. (current part time)

Earth, Space, Weather and Atmospheric Processes Teacher (Powhatan, VA – 2010 to 2016)

Instruct and assist students on earth, space, weather and atmospheric processes at Powhatan High School. Create lesson plans and assessments that align with VA Standards of Learning. Compile, organize, and interpret student data. Develop classroom procedures to maximize academic learning. Effectively communicate to all stakeholders the curriculum goals and students’ progress. Created and teach Meteorology curriculum for the first Meteorology course offered to high school students in the area.

Meteorological Consultant/Expert Witness (Richmond, VA – 2011 to 2014)

Represent Virginia Companies in televised commercials and personal appearances.

Meteorologist (Richmond, VA – 2001 to 2010)

On-Air Meteorologist for the 5:30 PM broadcast and the main meteorologist for Fox News at 10 p.m. Utilized WSI True View 3D interactive and Sky tracker software. Created and maintained the weather broadcasts for NBC’s 24 hour Weather Plus and daily podcast. Updated the Internet and telephone weathercast, as well as, the daily weather article in the Richmond Times-Dispatch. Gave school talks and appeared at civic functions. Served as the Staff Gardner- working with local mega greenhouse for live fall and spring events.

Meteorologist (Des Moines, IA – 1998 to 2001)

Meteorologist for the weekday noon broadcast, a 1 hour newscast, the weekend morning newscasts, and the CNN cut-ins. Produced the weekday weather using Weather Central/Genesis graphics and live WX shots live radio broadcasts, school and business presentations using Live Pinpoint Doppler Radar

Chief Meteorologist (Harrisonburg, VA – 1997 to 1998)

Meteorologist for the 6 and 11 p.m. newscast Monday through Friday, using ACCU Weather. Responsible for cut-ins, promotions, Weather School, live presentations at schools and community functions, and creating severe weather SOPs.
