regional director with implementation of program changes while also providing
staffing coverage when able.  With this
position, full knowledge of reimbursement was essential and a teachable asset
to new and existing directors who were having difficulty acclimating to program
changes due to CMS changes (effective 10/10). My expertise was also utilized as many facilities were undergoing state
survey, as my current supervisor floated me to assist the team with any issues

With title of Clinical Director, I ran day-to-day
operations of an outpatient clinic in Atlantic City, NJ, while overseeing
another PT, PTA, and OT. I functioned under New Jersey Law and provided skilled
PT therapy services in this outpatient facility setting. I also participated in
regular director’s meeting to ensure quality assurance is evident in our
practice and continually audit to ensure compliance is sufficient to maintain
Bacharach’s JCAHO accreditation at the satellite level.

With a title of Director of Rehabilitation, I
oversaw day-to-day operations of a department of three disciplines for a 186
bed skilled nursing facility with a 62 bed sub-acute wing. Being well versed on
PPS system and understanding Medicare/Medicaid expectations in delivery of
skilled therapy services. I intervened on an interdisciplinary level with both
nursing and other departments on my team’s skilled interventions, and was
soundly responsible for maximizing reimbursement for our facility and its use of
my team’s skilled therapy. In addition, I acquired an expansive knowledge of
durable medical equipment (DME) to ensure patient safety and use of DME as
necessary to ensure safe discharges from SNF to home for sub-acute residents. I
also coordinated vacation coverage for three other facilities other than my
building and coordinated in-house auditing of therapy soft files for
