Initially employed by Cole Family Practice, this practice was eventually acquired by Trinity Health Chelsea Hospital in Chelsea Michigan and subsequently acquired by IHA Healthcare a subsidiary of Trinity Health in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
The present practice has five providers. Three physicians and two Advanced Practice Providers.
Clinical responsibilities include performing a complete history and physical examination, management of patients from adolescents to geriatrics as well as minor office procedures. Clinical duties require reviewing incoming laboratory reports, radiology studies, and specialty consultations. The practice is EMR based on the EPIC System permitting the acquisition of patient visits, reports, hospitalizations, emergency room visits and hospitalizations from any other facility that is EPIC based.
Formulate diagnoses based on physical examination, test results, and the patient’s reported symptoms. Prescribe appropriate treatment and medication to ameliorate symptoms and treat the underlying condition.

Certified Physician Assistant | Emergency Medical Consultants – Jackson, Michigan | 01/2017 – Current
Employed part-time as an independent contractor to staff the Emergency Room/Urgent Care Clinic at Duane Waters Hospital of Southern Michigan Prison in Jackson, Michigan. Responsible for the evaluation and management of inmates presenting for emergent as well as minor illnesses including trauma, cardiac events, respiratory distress, diabetes, and mental health emergencies. Responsible for the admission of inmates transferred from regional community hospitals for admission utilizing the Nex-Gen and Correctional Offenders Management System EMR. Coordinate admission to the inpatient floor after reviewing the records from the previous hospital and entering the appropriate medications, additional consultations, radiographic studies, and pending outpatient consultations.

Employed by a multi-physician family practice. Responsibilities were divided between two offices, one in Jackson, Michigan and the second in Addison, Michigan.
