Senior Executive with 56+ years’ experience in general management, sales and marketing management, plant and production management, purchasing, product, process and market development; all related to plastics industry involvement. Started my plastics career with 6 years of plastics R&D of consumer products. Was involved for 12 years in national and international sales of plastic process equipment; extrusion, injection molding, structural foam molding, thermoforming and plastic welding. Well versed in machine design, screw design and machine fabrication. Have patents for machine design and process. Was in General Management for over 20 years including operating my own extrusion company for 16 years. I sold my profile extrusion company after 16 years of profitable operation.
After the sale of Custom Pac, I have been consulting in the plastics industry. In my consultation, my focus has been with process engineering in profile extrusion in the automotive, arms, medical, appliance, medical, and construction industries. I have been involved in developing extrusion lines for high speed extrusion of medical tubing, packaging films, PS foam sheet, building an extrusion line for 6000#/hr PP compounding, recycling HDPE and PET at 400,000#/day, flow molding of RR X ties, and turnkey extrusion and welding of refrigerator gaskets and a number of projects producing medical products. I have been travelling internationally to provide Field Service Engineering, Project Management and startup assistance for both consulting processing clients and process equipment manufacturers. Currently have projects involving process development and project management, project management in medical tubing application (select equipment and purchase), expert witness in lawsuit, and extruder installation, start up and training in Russia, Saudi Arabia, India, Brazil,(PP drinking straws) Costa Rico, Canada(business startup and Mexico (PVC medical tubing).

Custom-Pac Extrusions Inc. Chagrin Falls, Ohio – Founded to produce plastic drum handling rings under patents I developed 1980 to 1983. The joint venture partner is Custom Materials Inc. Sales $2.9MM profitable. Handled all the General management, sales and marketing for the company. While managing Custom-Pac, also managed sales for Custom Materials Inc. my joint venture partner. Sold company to US Plastic Lumber, Inc.

Custom Materials Inc., Chagrin Falls, Ohio – A fabricator of metallic and non-metallic parts primarily for the electrical generation, distribution and motor markets. Reorganized the sales and marketing of the company. Sales grew from $2.3MM to $9.2MM as Custom-Pac grew to $2.9MM sales. CMI was a joint venture partner in Custom-Pac Extrusions Inc.

George Woloch Co., Allentown, Pa., Employed as Production Manager to manage a 170,000 sq. ft. plant with 55 union employees producing 3MM#/mo. in thermoplastic compounding and industrial recycling.

HPM Corp., Mt. Gilead, Ohio Covered the eastern seaboard selling plastics extrusion equipment. Personal sales ranged from $1.1MM to $1.8MM. I managed the $6.3MM Eastern sales office last year of employment.

Waldron-Hartig Division – Midland Ross Corp., Somerset, NJ Sold plastics extrusion equipment in northern NJ and SE states. After sales training in Northern NJ for a year, I developed $1MM sales in new SE territory in one year and had $1.4MM sales in the last six months of employment.
