Synopsis

Expert is a former associate professor at the Western University of Podiatric Medicine. He is a former partner with Thunderbird Internal Medicine and a former clinician at the Banner Thunderbird Hospital Woundcare Center, practicing for 22 years. John Tassone is now a full time associate professor at the Arizona School of Podiatric Medicine. He is a national speaker and board certified in podiatry with ABPM and a fellow and a board of director with ACPM (formerly ACFAOM). Dr Tassone also is board certified in MSK ultrasound with ARDMS.

Diagnosed and treated in excess of 2000 patients in an outpatient podiatric clinic, treating everything from routine diabetic foot care to severe trauma. Rotating responsibilities included service in Pathology, Radiology, Rheumatology, Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Vascular Surgery, and Diabetic Clinic. Provided general medical care residents of associated V.A. nursing home. Completed one month in Surgery, as Assistant Surgeon, at the Portsmouth Naval Base, Portsmouth, Virginia. Supervised the P.A.C.T. Clinic and trained incoming physicians in clinic operations.

2011 A randomized, double blind, placebo-controlled parallel group efficacy and safety trial of Study Drug
(10 and 25 mg administered orally once daily) over 24 weeks in patients with Type 2 diabetes mellitus with insufficient glycemic control despite a background therapy of piogltazone alone or in combination with metformin.
