Professional Experience

Positions held-Intensive care staff nurse and relief shift manager full time. Interventional radiology part time since 2004. Neonatal ICU part time from 1996 to 2000. Medical-surgical manager 1/83 to 9/88.

Responsibilities- Direct patient care in ICU and sub-acute units, caring for variety of disease entities. Assist with central line insertion, arterial line placement and administering conscious sedation for numerous bedside procedures, such as bronchoscopies. Initiation and management of intravenous therapy.  Relief manager supervising and coordinating care of ICU patients. Assisting interventional radiologist with special procedures, i.e. stents, drain placement, angiograms.  Bedside care of neonates requiring intensive care.  Supervising nursing care and writing nursing evaluations on medical-surgical unit.
