Transport Distribution Freight Expert Witness

Expert began his career by working five years at FedEx beginning in 1975 performing operational, management and sales roles. A brief operations stint at UPS was followed by five years at SonicAir, where jobs included operations management and sales management, culminating as Vice President of marketing, pricing programs and ground transport. Special projects included the merger and integration with another like company called Air Couriers International.

Expert worked two years with Distribution Concepts International consulting as Vice President concentrating on key engagement management. Clients included large Entertainment and Technology companies.

He founded Transport Solutions LLC (TSL) in June 1987 to serve targeted needs of companies using large amounts of outside purchase transportation. TSL specializes in helping companies optimize their usage of freight services. TSL supports client’s decision making and management with independent unbiased analysis. TSL has developed methods, processes and proprietary software that provide leverage to achieve measureable results.

A division of TSL that performed Freight Payment Services was sold in 2007. The division processed over five million freight bills per year and managed billions of US dollars in freight invoice payments as well as significant amounts of Asian and European currency.

Expert holds a Bachelors Degree in History and Honors Program Certificate from California State University at Long Beach.

Expert is a past President and current Treasurer of the Southern California Roundtable for CSCMP (Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals) and serves as Chairman of CSULB’s CBA Supply Chain Management Advisory Board. He is Board of Directors Chairman for ChildNet Youth and Family Services.

Expert has been published in the Journal of Business Strategy, Thunderbird University International Business Journal and The Internal Auditor, speaks to industry trade groups and is a guest speaker for university classes at CSULB and UCI.
