This firm provides strategy and execution services across three targeted market segments: Venture Capital / Private Equity communities; Turnaround Management groups and other professional organizations (CPA, legal firms, business brokerages, etc.). Specific solution offerings of business & product strategy, implementation and professional services are provided. These support client requirements for investment due-diligence, portfolio management (e.g. spot help through Program Office initiatives) and interim CXO roles.

Additionally, I co-founded a financial supply chain strategy and systems company leveraging prior investments in supply chain management to equalize the cost of capital. These eCommerce solutions reduce both financial supply chain costs and their complexities while being closely aligned with the physical supply chain activities.

Relevant engagement experience:

Engagement Partner leading a Supply Chain Strategy and Procurement effort for a multi-billion dollar international Tier 1 automotive supplier. I was responsible for all management activities including concept selling through piloting.

Engagement Partner leading a full life cycle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation for a multi-billion dollar Engineer to Order manufacturing company. I was responsible for all project management activities. This included the production of work plans and deliverables, project financial & task management, additional sales opportunities and client satisfaction. This project involved the complex re-engineering of all manufacturing and distribution processes. In addition, I sat on the Executive Steering Committee assisting this organization with their strategic direction setting and ERP alignment. Project Manager for numerous engagements developing the IS infrastructure for ERP implementations, legacy systems integration and line-of-business technology assessments. I developed plans for data collection, requirements definition & design, integrating core technologies, defining management support procedures and implementing the Center of Excellence ( COE ). At project inception, the COE housed the production environment, and running in parallel, managed all system modifications, integration testing and the refinement of support procedures. When complete, the COE component transitioned into the responsible organization tasked with site roll-out and sustaining activities.

Relevant engagement experience:
Project Manager for an engagement to define and integrate a health-care association’s technical infrastructure. Responsible for all aspects of engagement including initial sales contacts, proposal generation and presentation, management of deliverables and final Executive Management presentation. Project manager responsible for Product Standards Data System (PSDS). This Boeing corporate project was tasked with the electronic delivery and maintenance of engineering and operational data / process standards. In this capacity I performed the following functions:

Principle architect of core system.

Definition, design, integration and implementation of 100 node test network. This network integrated 7 different operating systems, 10 different hardware architectures and 4 different Network Operating Systems.

Project management of network impact study in support of PSDS integration into the Boeing Corporate network.

Managed evaluation studies of optimal server platforms.

Extensive vendor negotiations pursuant to product definition and deliverables.

Designed and implemented sustaining operation that included help desk and comprehensive system and network monitoring capabilities.

As a Systems Analyst, I was responsible for system design, coding, testing, and debugging of a graphics development workbench used by military aeronautical engineers for aircraft configuration. For this military funded project, I held a secret security clearance.

Software Engineer & Field Service Engineer ( USMC – NAS El Toro )

Responsible for all Software Quality Assurance activities regarding F/A-18 computer controlled test equipment used by the US Navy. Established methodologies of software design, coding, testing and documentation used for laboratory and production products. Designed and developed both system and application software for a variety of hardware and software platforms including micro and mini architecture’s. Additionally, I managed the field operations of a microcomputer controlled test set utilized for the troubleshooting and repair of F/A-18 avionics equipment.

United States Air Force August 1977 to February 1982
Systems Specialist ( E4 – Sgt.)

Four years experience in the USAF as an Integrated Avionics Systems Specialist. I performed fight-line avionics troubleshooting and repair on F-111 aircraft. As a non-commissioned officer, I led a team of aircraft systems specialists responsible for over 75% of all flight-line repair activities. This mobile repair function was instrumental in achieving a fully mission capable ( FMC ) rate that was the highest in the service.
