Conceived and implemented the Grand Valley Criminal Justice Education Center which delivers education and training to the criminal justice community statewide.

Developed a graduate distance learning program.

Participated in and completed a number of field research projects.

Developed criminal justice program assessment model.

Have worked with departments of correction in providing training and consultation on management issues.

Founded and developed four private work release programs for adults.

Participated in the development and opening of a 470 bed high rise direct supervision jail, including writing first edition of policies and procedures.

Thoroughly experienced as a manager and am familiar with policies and procedures, program assessment, developing employee programs, staff training, budgeting, and organization development.

Have been consulted and received air time on issues of contemporary interest for TV and radio programs on gangs, violence, and drugs as well as one PBS documentary.
