Director of Engineering: Directed Product and Process Development for disposable medical devices, durable devices, and electronic instruments.

MCGAW LABORATORIES (then a div. of American Hospital Supply Corp), Irvine, CA 1973-76

Manufacturing Engineering Manager: Managed group responsible for projects involving: injection and blow molds, extrusion, blow and injection molding equipment, automated assembly and packaging equipment, solution mixing and sterilization equipment, plus water, steam and compressed air systems.  Capital projects exceeded ten million dollars.

Senior Project Engineer: Established the new function of Tooling Engineering.  Had division responsibility for all tooling and injection molding equipment used for the production of rubber, plastic, and glass components.  Wrote specifications, procured equipment, and managed qualifications.

CALIFORNIA INJECTION MOLDING CO., Costa Mesa, CA 1968-72

Department Manager and Engineer: Responsible for contract manufacturing of mechanical and electronic devices, mostly medical devices.  Areas of responsibility included injection mold design, injection molding, second operations, assembly and testing, plus packaging.
