History and References

In giving a synopsis of my experience, performance and academic background serving the Elevator Industry, I believe it is safe to say my long suit is in communication (Written and verbal communication. Communicating as an officer in a variety of Associations, 30 years as a Classrooms Instructor to Apprentice Elevator Technicians, Articles published in trade magazines and testimony in depositions and expert witness consulting. Years of public speaking and Instructing have taught me the ultimate psychology to my profession that being: knowledge, presentation, preparation, honesty and clarity.

Representative Litigation Experience:
I have been consulted by expert witnesses in my field and a number of lawyers for my knowledge of specific types of elevator equipment. I have also been asked to assist in the analysis of accidents, equipment failure and related injuries. Expert witnesses bring convincing testimony in depositions and court trials, if properly prepared, but I also offer my clients assistance in dealing with cross examination to opposing experts.  I am presently involved with several cases for both plaintiff and defendant and my calendar is busy with scheduled site investigations, depositions and scheduled court appearances. As of this writing, I have an almost even split between my representation of plaintiff to defendant.

Representative Consulting Services and/or Projects:
Because of my writing and teaching skills I have developed training programs for most Elevator Contractors in the performance of Hydraulic control trouble shooting, Hydraulic Jack Installations and equipment associated with this type of equipment. I have trained elevator contractor sales personnel to better understand older generation(s) of elevator equipment.
I have published training manuals to explain the functions of telescopic jacks as well as trouble shooting techniques. My marketing background has allowed me to assist several contractors in developing a more sophisticated approach to service, repair and modernization.
